Term & Conditions

By placing a deposit on your reservation with The Brain Health Retreat, you acknowledge that you have read, understand and agree to be bound by the following policies, terms, and conditions:

Payment Policy

  • All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable, and required to confirm reservation.

  • Final balances are due 90 (ninety) days (October 11, 2024) prior to the retreat start date at which time the credit card on file will be automatically charged the balance amount.

  • Cancellations made for The Brain Health Retreat 90 (ninety) days or more from the retreat start date are subject to a full refund, less the $1000 deposit and a $75 processing fee.

  • If The Brain Health Retreat cancels due to low enrollment or other extenuating circumstances, you will receive a refund less the $1000 deposit and a $75 processing fee. Guest is responsible to secure travel insurance and/ or non-refundable flight.

  • The Brain Health Retreat may offer reduced pricing or promotions at their discretion, with reduced pricing or promotions applicable only to new reservations. Any confirmed retreat reservations with deposit and/or full payment received by The Brain Health Retreat are not entitled to reduced pricing.

  • The Brain Health Retreat guarantees that all reservations booked and secured with a valid deposit will be held as indicated on the applicable confirmation. In the case of Force Majeure (country closures, natural disasters, etc.), this guarantee is not applicable and no refunds will be provided. The Brain Health Retreat in it's sole discretion, will allow the amount paid to be transferred as credit towards a future retreat to be valid up to one year if applicable.

Covid 19 Policy/ Travel Requirements

  • In the event there are further travel restrictions as a result of the Covid-19 Pandemic requiring The Brain Health Retreat to be cancelled, in consultation with Imiloa Institute, The Brain Health Retreat reserves the right to determine the timeframe within which new retreat dates may be reserved based on development of travel restrictions and other scheduling factors. The Brain Health Retreat in it's sole discretion, will allow the amount paid to be transferred as credit towards a future retreat to be valid up to one year if applicable. The Brain Health Retreat cannot be responsible for additional costs incurred by guests as a result of the date change.

  • It is the responsibility of the traveller to complete their due diligence to ensure they are travelling and/or entering into Costa Rica according to the current mandates as stipulated by the Costa Rican government. This includes any vaccines that may be required, testing, paperwork, etc. The Brain Health Retreat cannot be responsible for any additional costs incurred as such, or that may arise from non-compliance. Waiver Of Liability

  • I understand I am willingly choosing to participate in a group event. I am capable of advocating for myself and will remove myself if the activities are not suitable for my health. It is my responsibility to speak with the hosts and Imiloa Staff if I need assistance. I will treat my hosts, fellow participants, and Imiloa Institute employees with respect. Any mistreatment will not be tolerated and will result in a discussion and potential removal from the retreat if my actions are harmful. I understand choosing to attend a group retreat is a choice and privilege, and one that is very important to each individual in the group. I will respect all by showing up as my best self.

  • I release Fisher Fitness, LLC, Stacy Hamby, Brain Health Kitchen, Annie Fenn, M.D. and its officers, directors, shareholders, agents, members and/or representatives from any kind of claim or injury resulting from any act or omission during movement practice, nutritional guidance or instruction.. I understand it is my responsibility to consult with my physician prior to participation.
